NEWS:
Williams Building Mural: (corner of N. Williams and Cook, by Pizza A-Go-Go).
This wonderful mural, first constructed by Charlie Alan Kraft (www.charliealankraft.com), was heavily graffitti’d this year. So, Mr. Kraft has kindly asked me to help repaint the building in collaboration with him. Our mural was featured May-July as part of The Portland Mural Show (www.myspace.com/olympicmillsart). Commissions: I am definitely a commission artist and I am spending July on a bit of art vacation…working mostly on events and my commissions already owed to collectors. If you are looking for a special commission or have a painting in mind, I love to work with people and have a creative outcome towards a painting. Always fun for me.

July 2008 - Olympic Mills Commerce Center (107 SE Washington) - The Portland Mural Show is completed….but now we are having an auction on July 25th (7-9pm) for all of the doors completed during the live paintoff (40 plus doors, including mine). July 2008 - Olympic Mills Commerce Center (107 SE Washington) July’s show is “Monster’s Ink” and “X-Files Release” a celebration show of monsters, sci-fi and a tribute to the X-Files!! July 2008 - The Goodfoot Lounge (address) Last Thursday, July 31st (5pm - CLOSE)- Invision 2 Book Release Party. The new book of Portland art is coming out (Another Sky Press, edited by Michael Fields - Invision2.) and the Goodfoot is having an art show of ALL artists from both books (2007/2008) - big collection of folks. I will have 5 new pieces on display, one of them incorporates all of the artists in both books. www.thegoodfoot.com.)
August 2008 - Vault Martini(226 NW 12th). First Thursday opening. Pretty excited to show at this swank estab. I love the drinks and the beautiful ladies. This is my very specific Portland neighborhood show, entitled “Hoods and Pockets” - which will detail over a dozen Portland “hoods” and neighborly “pockets”. Pretty jazzed. August 30th, 2008 (1 week show) Audiocinema - AC/VC - a one week exhibition of art and music, promoted by Kelly Davis and Audiocinema. I am helping a bit with the event and my art will be displayed. www.audiocinema.org.
